Where have I been?!

Dear peeps,

It’s been a mere 4 months since my last post, hopefully you still remember you signed up to receive posts via email. I’ve gained a lot of new readers thanks to my Zumba Bingo post and free game cards. Many of you have never even had an email come through…(please don’t hit unsubscribe!).

So what is going on with Becoming Supersonic?! I wish I could say I was revamping my site or working hard on new cutting edge content, but that would be a big fat lie. BUT let me tell you what HAS happened.

It all started when I interviewed for a new job in Los Angeles in August. That interview went well and in September I was offered and accepted the job! Yipee!!! So basically in the last four months I gave notice at my old job (sad, but also exciting), organized my stuff and put everything into a ReloCube (if you are moving check those guys out!) and drove from Massachusetts to California! Needless to say things have been a little busy.

Pack all the stuff!

Pack all the stuff!

It has been a HUGE change, one that has been both fun and sad. I was sad to leave behind all the amazing people I met in MA. It takes a while to build up a group of friends in a new place and to be honest I had just started to feel really rooted there. Thanks to awesome co-workers and Zumba┬« I met an amazing group of people that I am very honored to call friends. I miss them.

Just a few of the people I miss :(

On the flip side I got out of Massachusetts just in time to see the beautiful fall leaves, but early enough to miss the winter. I now get to drive down palm tree lined streets and get “cold” when the temperature dips below 50 degrees. To say I feel like a lucky duck would be putting it mildly.

Sorry, had to.

Sorry, had to.

So what about this blog? Well it’s been on the back burner for a little while now, and if I’m being completely honest I can’t say it’s moved to the front of the queue yet. What I can say is that I am finally in a place to look around my new home for Zumba┬« classes…which I plan to attend as a student. I can only hope that I find a group as amazing as the New England peeps (which is gonna be tough). Any readers in Southern Cal please don’t be afraid to write a shout out on my Becoming Supersonic FB page, or add a comment to this post. I would LOVE to come to your class or any class you recommend….I’m in Zumba┬« withdrawals. Help!

In the meantime I will try my darnedest to post semi-regularly. I have a lot more I want to share with you and to be completely honest, I REALLY miss blogging. If you’re curious about what I’ve been up to check out my Instagram, that seems to be the only thing I’ve been able to manage lately.

More to come soon, I promise,
Kristi
